Welcome to the website of the Armagh\u00a0and\u00a0District History Group.<\/p>\n
The group was formed in 2003 by a small group of like minded people who were already involved in researching the history of the Armagh area. We rightly thought that if we organised into a group that met regularly then we would attract more people to join and enjoy getting to know more about the past in our neighbourhood.<\/p>\n
Our\u00a0membership is around 20 most of whom will turn up for our monthly meetings. These monthly talks are a chance to get to know the other members and you\u2019re always guaranteed an interesting and varied programme of speakers.<\/p>\n
We meet in the Observatory library which is situated to the left and rear of the Observatory building. (see map<\/a>).
