On Wednesday, 10th June, at 7:00pm we visit Dan Winter’s House, where our host Hilda Winter will share the story of this early 18th-century listed vernacular farmhouse.
Restored in 2000 with much of its original fabric preserved, the house is best known as the birthplace of the Orange Order in 1795 after the Battle of the Diamond. Today, its artefacts bring that history vividly to life.
DIRECTIONS
Please note there are two buildings associated with Dan Winter in the area. We are visiting Dan Winter’s House 9 Derryloughan Rd, Loughgall, Armagh BT61 8PH.
